Data movies (shadowgraph)
These movies show the temporal evolution of 113 separate shadowgraph experiments.
Each movie shows the experiments run at a given tilt angle theta = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6°.
This paper explains the dimensionality reduction (extraction of density interfaces and principal components space) and unsupervised classification (clustering).
Note that in these videos the clusters are named A,B,C,D,E instead of L,B,O,G,U.
Special thanks to Xianyang Jiang and Gaopan Kong for their help with the data acquisition.
The data and movies can be freely downloaded here.
